The largest film stunt explosion has a total yield of 68.47 tonnes of TNT equivalent, and was achieved during filming for SPECTRE (EON Productions/Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures/Columbia Pictures) in Erfoud, Morocco, on 28 June 2015.
The explosion was the result of detonating 8,418 litres of kerosene with 33 kg of powder explosives, and lasted for over 7.5 seconds.
