The longest marathon playing online poker is 48 hr and was achieved by Martin Hummel (Netherlands), in Utrecht, Netherlands, from 2 to 4 April 2021.
Martin streamed the entire attempt on his Twitch channel. He competed in over 40 No-Limit Texas Hold'em tournaments, finishing in positions as high as 36th and as low as 1,944st. In between tournaments he played cash games, all on the online platform PokerStars. Martin was present for the previous record holder's attempt of this title and he wanted to give it a try himself.
