The largest building in the shape of an alphabet letter is 3,647 m² (11,965.22 ft²) and was achieved by Dentaprime (Bulgaria), in Varna, Bulgaria, on 2 April 2020.
The building, in the shape of the letter 'D', was constructed in order to provide affordable dental treatment, designed to contain 50 treatment rooms. On approach to Varna Airport, the 'D'-shaped building can be seen from plane windows! The planning phase took approximately 4 months, and the construction took a total of 5 months.
The building has become a popular photo opportunity, particularly at night time when the building is fully illuminated!
