The highest altitude skyrunning® ultra marathon is 5,895 m (19340.55 ft) achieved by EP Global Events Limited and World's Highest Marathon (both Gibraltar) on Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania on 9 May 2022.


The participants were David Pickles, Ricky Thomas (both UK) Mussa Michael Mwakyusa, Emmanuel Paulo, Mathyo Injur, Stanley Wariel, (all Tanzania) Sandi Menchi Abahan, Elias Tabac (both Philippines) and Roberto Delorenzi (Italy)
