The fastest time to to climb the Seven Summits, including Carstensz Pyramid, and ski the polar last degrees by a female is 238 days 23 hours and 30 minutes and was achieved by Maria Gordon (UK), at the summit of Mount Kosciuszko, Australia, on 17 June 2016.

Maria, also known as Masha, started her record-breaking journey by ascending Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Next, she climbed Mount Vinson (Antarctica) before skiing to the South Pole from the 89th parallel south, arriving at the Pole on 15 December 2015.

Maria then ascended Mount Aconcagua (Argentina), Mount Carstensz, also known as Puncak Jaya (Indonesia) and Mount Elbrus (Russia) before skiing to the North Pole from the 89th parallel north, arriving at the Pole on 19 April 2016.

She went on to ascend Everest (Nepal/Tibet) and Mount Denali, also known as Mount McKinley (USA), before completing her attempt atop Mount Kosciuszko (Australia).
