Sophie has completed over 50 ultramarathons, and has previously achieved a record for the fastest crossing of Ireland on foot (female) with a time of 3 days 12 hours.
She is passionate about increasing access to sport for women and is the founder of SheRACES which is an organisation aimed at educating races to be more inclusive to female athletes and take their needs into consideration.
