The most Ultimate Fighting Championship welterweight championship bouts won by an individual fighter is 12 by Georges St-Pierre (Canada) from 18 November 2006 to 16 November 2013. Georges St-Pierre has dominated the welterweight division not losing a fight since 2007. His career Win/Loss record is an impressive 25–2. The most recent title-fight, his twelfth win, was a controversial Split Decision by the judges – only his second split decision victory ever. GSP, as he is known, also holds a host of other records including the most wins by decision in UFC history.
