The longest videogame marathon is 144 hours and was achieved by Szabolcs Csépe aka GrassHopper (Hungary) who played Dance Dance Revolution in Kecskemét, Hungary, from 23 to 29 October 2024.
Szabolcs Csépe says 'I played over 3000 songs and burned through 22,000 kcal in the process. Those who followed the live broadcast could listen to all 1,152 available music in the game multiple times, with some bonus nostalgia tunes from Dance Dance Revolution 1-2-3, courtesy of the Classic Mini 1/5th home arcade!'
He now holds multiple record titles for marathon gaming.
