The largest canned food structure consists of 308,448 cans and was achieved by John Deere (USA), at the John Deere Pavilion in Moline, Illinois, USA, from 10 to 17 November 2011.
John Deere (USA) had worked with RTKL construction to create a canned food structure that resembled the John Deere S-series Combine out of purchased canned foods from HyVee Food. Nearly 500 employees and volunteers worked on the structure. A total of 4,290 cans were not used as they were supported on an auger boom within the structure.
