The largest backwards race consists of 1,007 participants and was organised by Sipwise Beverages (India) in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, on 28 May 2017.
The first attempt at the record was unsuccessful but in the second attempt there were no disqualifications as everyone fully participated.
