The largest display of origami flowers/plants consists of 70,272 flowers and was achieved by Yodo Junior High School (Japan) in Matsuyama, Ehime, Japan, on 8 December 2016.
The event took place to cerebrate moving in to a new school building as well as 70th anniversary of the Yodo Junior High School. 634 students participated making origami flowers which had taken 3 months.
