Highest value first place prize for a Madden NFL videogame tournament

EA Sports Madden Challenge The biggest open-to-all Madden videogame tournament is the EA Sports Madden Challenge, which had a first prize worth $50,000 (£30,395) in 2009. Eric “Problem” Wright (USA) won the event, which was his second Madden Challenge win in a row. Competitors qualified for the finals of the competition via local tournaments in 18 cities across three countries or via online tournaments on Xbox Live. The winner receives a $25,000 (£15,197) cheque and a voucher for $25,000 for retailer Best Buy.
