The most Mosconi Cup appearances for the USA is 19, achieved by Shane Van Boening (USA) between 2007 and 2025.

First held in 1994, the Mosconi Cup is an annual nine-ball pool contest between the USA and Europe. Shane Van Boening – aka the “South Dakota Kid” – made his 19th appearance in 2025, the USA falling to an 11–3 defeat at London’s Alexandra Palace. Van Boening had broken the all-time Mosconi Cup appearance record the previous year, moving one clear of Team Europe’s Ralf Souquet and the USA’s Johnny Archer.
