Largest building site

Three palm-shaped artificial islands, built on the coast of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from 100 million m³ (3.5 billion ft³) of sand and rock, will eventually make up the Palm Island project. According to the architects, when finished, each "palm" will add 60 km (37 miles) of shoreline to Dubai and increase the beachfront by 166%.
