The most games unbeaten in the English Premier League is 49 by Arsenal between 7 May 2003 and 16 October 2004. This total is made up of the last two games of the 2002/03 season and 38 games unbeaten for the whole of the 2003/04 season, and the first nine games of the 2004/05 season. The run was ended at Old Trafford by Manchester United on 24 October with a 2-0 victory.
