Beach volleyball has been part of the Olympic games since 1996, and the USA has won the men’s competition on three occasions: by Karch Kiraly and Kent Steffes in Atlanta in 1996; and Dain Balanton and Eric Fonoimoana in Sydney 2000; and Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers in 2008.
