Largest crab salad

The largest crab salad weighs 1,079 kg (2,378.78 lb), and was achieved by Municipalidad de Naranjal (Ecuador), in Naranjal, Guayas, Ecuador, on 3 August 2025.

The crab salad was primarily composed of red crab, which represented more than 50% of the total preparation, amounting to 574 kg. The remaining ingredients included bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and potatoes, all of which were carefully cleaned, chopped, and mixed as part of the preparation process.
