Largest donation of ecobricks in 24 hours

The largest donation of ecobricks in 24 hours weighs 3,751.8 kg (8,271 lb 4 oz) and was achieved by Miri Secondhand Dealer and Recycler Association (Malaysia) in Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia on 11-12 January 2025.

Miri produces 80,600 tonnes of rubbish annually, with 50% consisting of plastic waste. Miri Secondhand Dealer and Recycler Association believes that achieving a Guinness World Records title will have a positive impact on Miri’s environment. The “Green Wall of Miri” symbolizes their commitment to keeping their home green and clean. Their ultimate goal is to transform Miri into a green city.
