Largest collection of spoons

Mr. Des Warren of Mayfield Australia owns a collection of over 30,000 teaspoons as recognized by the UK Spoon Collectors Club.

Des received much of his collection following Austrailia's bicentennial celebration in 1988. His collection is housed in a huge, special room containing over 20 cases of 1000 spoons each. The spoons are made from china, silver, gold, bone, crystal, glass, etc. Des's most extraordinary spoon is from such a rare set, only 2 sets were ever made, the Queen of England has the other!
