The largest jigsaw-puzzle competition is the 2022 World Jigsaw Puzzle Championship, which took place at the Cúpula del Milenio in Valladolid, Spain, on 23–26 June 2022, with 624 entrants representing 44 different countries.
The contest was first held in 2019, the same year that its organizer, the World Jigsaw Puzzle Federation, was founded. No competition was held over the following two years, because of COVID-19 lockdowns, but the event returned in 2022.
