The highest recorded score over 24 hours by a pair of archers is 76,158 during 70 Portsmouth Rounds (60 arrows per round at 20yd at 60cm  FITA targets) by Simon Tarplee and David Hathaway at Evesham, Worcs on 1 April 1991. During this attempt Simon Tarplee set an individual record of 38,500.
