The largest door made from recycled materials is 111.50 m² (1,200 ft² 25 in²) and was achieved by AL AAQIL AL AHLIYA ENTERPRISES (OMAN PVC) and KHALID AL KHALIFIN (both Oman), in Ibra, Oman, on 28 November 2022.
The door was actually attached to the front building of the record holder’s factory and was made in celebration of Oman’s National Day. Two main ingredients of materials used were remnants of palm fronds and used/discarded plastic. The recycled extrusion was also recyclable.
