Ildefonso Lima Solà retired from international football following Andorra’s Euro 2024 qualifier against Switzerland – he was substituted in the 23rd minute to a standing ovation from both sets of fans. Lima made his debut, aged 17, in Andorra’s second-ever official fixture, scoring in a 4–1 defeat to Estonia. He went on to amass 137 caps and retired as his country’s record goalscorer, with 11.
