The most wins in the NASCAR Cup Series is 200, achieved by Richard Petty (USA) from 28 February 1960 to 4 July 1984.
The Cup Series is the top tier of NASCAR’s three divisions of racing (together with Xfinity and Truck Series). Nicknamed “the King”, Petty collected a record-equal seven NASCAR championships and won the Daytona 500 seven times, more than any other racer. His record of 200 victories stood as the outright record across NASCAR until Kyle Busch collected his 201st win in all categories on 23 March 2019. It is almost double the next-highest total of Cup Series victories – David Pearson’s 105.
