On 16 January 2019 more than 30 collectors pursued a fully-boxed factory sealed copy of 1987's NES classic The Legend of Zelda (Nintendo). The rare wrapped Classic Series version of the original Zelda ultimately sold for $3,360 (£2,594), premium included, on the Heritage Auctions website.
Before auction the game was independently graded and certified by Wata Games who awarded it a score of 9.4 B+ (Seal Rating).
