The largest magnet mosaic (image) is 26.38 m² (283.80 ft²), and was achieved by The Museum of Discovery and Science and The Original MAGNA-TILES® (both USA) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA, on 1 August 2026.
To achieve this record, a team of 5 secured multiple galvanized steel sheets to the Museum wall. These steel surfaces served as the magnetic support required to safely hold the installation.
Working carefully, the team placed over 4,500 MAGNA-TILES® to create the completed Fort Lauderdale beach scene. In the end over 50 MODS staff worked diligently for 6 days to achieve the finished mural.
