Most streamed track on Spotify (current year, female)

The most streamed track on Spotify by a female artist in 2023 was “Flowers” by Miley Cyrus (USA, b. Destiny Hope Cyrus), which generated more than 1.6 billion streams.

The chart-topping hit became the fastest track by a female artist to reach 100 million (on 20 January) and 1 billion Spotify streams (on 4 May), and holds the outright record for the most streamed track in one week (115,156,896 plays between 21–27 January).
