Aimed at young children, the video features a range of popular nursery rhymes retold with a series of colourful animations. The post was created by British app developers and animators Derek Holder and his wife and uploaded to their "LittleBabyBum" channel on 9 August 2014.

The channel launched a range of plush toys in 2016, based on some of its most popular nursery rhyme characters, such as Twinkle the Star and Baa Baa the Sheep.
