The greatest distance in 24 hours by mouth-controlled motorised wheelchair is 280 km (173.98 miles), achieved by Chang-Hyun Choi (South Korea) on 19 – 20 April 2017. The distance was covered by travelling along South Korea's Route 7 highway (with an escort) between the village of Giseong, in Gyeongsangbuk-do (North Gyeongsang Province) and the Goseon Unification Observatory in Gangwon-do (Gangwon Province).
