Fastest $1 million pledged for a crowdfunded project

The table-top horror game Kingdom Death: Monster 1.5 took just 19 minutes to raise $1 million when it was listed on Kickstarter on 25 November 2016. The game's flurry of pledges not only beat the previous record of 49 minutes, held by the smartwatch Pebble Time, but also saw the game smash its original campaign target of $100,000 ten times over. The campaign ended on 7 January 2017, having raised $12,393,139, giving it the overall record for the most crowdfunded Kickstarter boardgame. It was also the fourth most funded project on the Kickstarter platform overall.

Kingdom Death: Monster 1.5 is an updated version of a table-top game that had previously raised more than $2 million on Kickstarter in 2012.
