First animal mob in Minecraft

Today’s Minecraft is filled with animal mobs, but it wasn’t until 22 August 2009 that the pig appeared in Minecraft release 0.24_05. Since then pigs have undergone several revisions, notably correcting their earliest cross-eyed versions.
