Most finishers in the Baja 1000 off-road race

The most drivers to finish the iconic desert race, the Baja 1000, is 237 during the 2007 edition of the race that started in Ensenada and ended in Cabo San Lucas on 16 November 2007. The Baja 1000 is a 1,000-kilometre race that takes place in Mexico's Baja California peninsula. The off-road race takes place primarily in the desert and allows motorcycles, cars and trucks to compete together. The race began in 1967 and has been held annually with the exception of 1974. The winner of the 2007 race was won by Mark Post. The Oscar-winning American actor Paul Newman was the oldest ever participant in the race taking part in 2004 aged 80.
