Largest petition against a social game developer

In March 2011, Zynga launched the “English Countryside” expansion for FarmVille, inviting an English farmer and his sheep to London, UK, for promotional duties. The expansion enabled players to own two farms, but crops could only grow on one farm at a time, while the other remained on pause. Outraged players petitioned to keep both farms active. After 12,000 signatures, an expansion was released allowing the pause mode to be turned off.
