The largest toy sculpture contains 10,004 individual toys and was created by Popcorn Mall (Hong Kong), in Hong Kong, China, on 29 July 2012. The sculpture depicts a tree and measures 2.34 m (7 ft 8 in) high, 2.07 m (6 ft 9 in) wide and 1.20 m (3 ft 11 in) long. Toy bricks formed the framework of the sculpture and smaller toys were used on top of this to build up the tree image. Most of the toys were added to the sculpture by five students and then the final 204 toys were added by public shoppers, children invited by Oxfam and celebrities. The sculpture was created for the Mall’s opening as well as to promote the message of environmental protection.
